What is Coo Media?
We are an e-commerce platform that offers a unique groceries shopping experience by allowing customers to convert sorted waste into tokens (money) and use those tokens to shop on our site. Our goal is to make shopping convenient and sustainable for everyone.
How does the waste-to-token system work?
Get your waste (organic / inorganic) sorted. Then, take it to any of our collection centers. Our team will weigh and assess the waste, then convert it into tokens. Then, the tokens will be credited to your account on our platform, ready for you to shop with on our platform.
Is it safe to shop on your website?
Absolutely! We use advanced encryption technology to ensure that your personal and payment information is completely secure. Your safety and privacy are our top priorities.
2. Waste-to-Token System
What types of waste are accepted?
We accept both organic waste (like food scraps and compostable materials) and inorganic waste (such as plastics, paper, and metal). You can check our Waste Conversion Guide [Link to Guide] for a full list of accepted items.
How are tokens calculated?
Tokens are calculated based on the weight and type of waste. For example, heavier and harder-to-recycle items may earn more tokens.
Can I use tokens alongside traditional payment methods?
Yes! You can combine tokens with other payment methods like credit cards, debit cards, or digital wallets at checkout. Simply apply your tokens and then pay the balance with your preferred method.
3. Shopping & Orders
How do I place an order?
You can browse our wide selection of products. Then, you can add your preferred items to your cart. At checkout, apply your tokens or select a payment method. Complete your order, and we’ll handle the rest!
Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order is processed, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. You can also track your order directly from your Account Dashboard
What if I need to cancel or change my order?
You can cancel or modify your order within 2 hours of placing it. Visit the Order Management section in your Account Dashboard, or contact customer service for assistance, click here.
4. Shipping & Delivery
What delivery options do you offer?
We provide home delivery for convenience, as well as pickup location delivery if you prefer to collect your order from a nearby location
How long will my delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method chosen. Typically, orders are delivered within 3 hours for home delivery and 2-3 hours for pickup locations. You can see an estimated delivery time at checkout.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs depend on the size, weight, and destination of your order. You can see the exact shipping cost when you review your cart before checkout.
5. Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We offer a hassle-free return policy for most items within 3 hours of purchase. Simply visit our Returns Portal and follow the instructions for sending the product back to us. Please ensure the item is in its original packaging and condition.
How long does it take to process a refund?
Once we receive your returned item, we’ll process the refund within 1-2 business days. You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been issued.
What if I receive a damaged or defective item?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact our customer support team immediately. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund, free of charge.
